Missing someone who is far away? Me too! Maybe they are far across the country or 383 miles North of you in the same state. We can't help missing the ones we love. I love how personalized "missing you" projects can get. So of course a missing you card makes sense!
Set Up:
- White Craft Paint
- Blue Craft Paint
- Flat Paintbrush
- Black puff paint
- Brown Card stock Paper
- Red Felt
- Printer/or Map
- Scissors
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Time: Beating the Sun to Setting!
Step One: Fold Paper
This step is the easiest of course! Fold the paper in half, corner to corner, and use the paint bottle to make the fold more concise!
Step Two: Create Map Template
Print out a map of whatever state or the whole USA and cut it out!
Step Three: Paint the Country!
Hold your template to your card and using your brush dry in the paint fan out the edges with your brush.
Step Four: Highlight Your States
Cut out the two states (or more) and place them where they belong on the map. Take your blue paint and use the same method you did in Step 3 to highlight those locations.
Step Five: Cut Hearts
Out of the red felt cut out two small hearts to pinpoint the locations. Glue the hearts in the locations of your cities!
Step Six: Connect to your loved one!
Take a pencil and write your message and your connecting points between your two hearts! Then, take the puff paint and go over your pencil.
Let the puff paint dry and then...
You're Done!!
